Terms of use
Last updated: 3 April 2026. Legal entity: KARMAVYUHA COMMUNICATIONS LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India ("we", "us"), which operates the Citizz platform and brand ("Citizz"). By downloading the Citizz app, using this website, optional Citizz.com billing when invited for your organisation, or creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. The service
Citizz provides a platform for discovering and engaging with local service providers. KARMAVYUHA COMMUNICATIONS LLP is not the employer of businesses on the platform. We do not guarantee the quality, timing, price, or outcome of any job or engagement — those matters are between customers and businesses, subject to law and any separate agreement they make.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding contract in India (generally 18+). You must provide accurate information and keep login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Businesses must use a business profile for commercial listings and related purchases.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, defraud, discriminate against, or mislead other users.
- Circumvent payments or fees owed for paid features.
- Introduce malware, scrape the service without permission, or overload our systems.
- Use Citizz for illegal goods, services, or activity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or harm others or the platform.
4. Listings, visibility, and paid features
Optional paid features (such as visibility in search, messaging plans, advertising slots, or capacity add-ons) are described at purchase. Prices may vary by region and category. Features activate as shown before payment, subject to successful payment confirmation.
5. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by a licensed payment partner. You authorise us and our partner to charge the amounts you confirm at checkout.
- Digital services already delivered — For time-bound or immediately activated digital products (for example a visibility period that has started, or an active subscription period), fees are generally non-refundable unless we failed to provide what you paid for or a refund is required by applicable law.
- Billing errors and duplicate charges — If you were charged twice for the same purchase or our partner shows a clear error, contact contact@karmavyuha.com with details. After verification, we will work with our payment partner to correct or refund within a reasonable time (typically within 14 business days where the partner allows).
- Statutory rights — Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under Indian law.

6. Intellectual property
Citizz's name, logo, software, and our original content are protected. You keep rights to content you upload; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, process, and distribute that content as needed to operate Citizz.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in India:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Citizz for the specific feature or transaction giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the minimum allowed by law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KARMAVYUHA COMMUNICATIONS LLP, its partners, and its officers and employees from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms, except where caused by our wilful misconduct.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to non-waivable rights, courts at Siliguri, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the service.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the app or email. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance; where required by law, we will seek your consent separately.
