Help & support
Quick answers below. Full legal text is under Legal. Step-by-step guides for bookings, payments, and invite-only business portals are in Guides — no sign-in required on this site.
How does Citizz work? Who can register?
Citizz connects customers with local service businesses. Customers sign up to find and book services. Businesses sign up and choose a category: Individual/Freelancer, Small business/Shop, or Company/Organisation. Team members use worker login from their employer — not a separate public business signup. Read How Citizz works.
How do I get the app?
Use the official Play Store listing for Citizz here. Avoid unofficial downloads — they may be unsafe or out of date.
Why should I use Citizz?
Citizz helps you find local service providers near you — with photos, services, reviews, and booking when offered. We connect customers and businesses; providers do the work themselves. Read Why book on Citizz?.
I’m a customer — how do I book or chat?
Install the app and register as a customer (not as a business). Browse services near you — location permission helps. Messaging and booking depend on what each business enabled. For home visits you may share your address for that booking only. Full flow: Booking journey.
What does the business see about me when I book?
For an active booking, the business (and any assigned team member) can see what is needed to do the job — typically your name, phone, visit address when required, and booking details — until the booking is completed, cancelled, or rejected. Use Citizz chat and call instead of sharing a personal number in chat. Do not share OTPs, passwords, or card numbers in chat. Read Before you book.
Should I share my phone number or address with a business?
No — not outside Citizz. Use in-app messaging and calling (including masked phone where offered) to coordinate a booking. Enter a service address only in the Citizz booking flow when a home visit is required. Sharing your personal mobile number, WhatsApp, or address directly can put your privacy at risk. See Before you book, Privacy policy §6.1, and Terms §3.5.
How do I pay for the service after booking?
Citizz does not process payment for the physical job unless the app shows a specific Citizz checkout for that job. The business may contact you before the visit. Pay the business after the work as you agree (cash, UPI, etc.). Platform purchases in the app (visibility, messaging) are different — see Payments & refunds and Before you book.
How does a booking work step by step?
You submit a booking (starts pending). The business accepts or rejects. On the day, they may assign a team member. When work is done they mark it complete; you can then rate. Diagrams for customer, business, and team member: Booking journey.
I’m a business — does Citizz take commission on my jobs?
Payment for the physical service is between you and the customer — Citizz does not take a commission on that job payment. Optional platform tools (visibility, messaging, and similar) are separate choices. Read For businesses and Payments & refunds.
I’m a business — which category should I pick?
Individual/Freelancer if you work alone (e.g. stylist, plumber). Small business/Shop for a local shop with a small team. Company/Organisation for larger teams. Details in How Citizz works.
I’m a business — do I manage billing here?
Citizz.app is for trust, marketing, and education. Eligible purchases in the Citizz app use in-app checkout (including Google Play where offered). Some organisations also receive a separate, invite-only business account portal for specific services — your onboarding email describes whether that applies. Guides on Citizz.app summarise what to expect; we do not link to checkout from this site.
I’m a business — must I respond to every booking?
Yes. Citizz expects businesses to accept or reject pending bookings promptly, honour confirmed jobs, and keep listings accurate. Ignoring pending requests, going idle after registering, or repeated poor conduct may lead to profile removal or account suspension. Read Business platform standards and Terms §3.4 (v1.1).
Can Citizz remove my business if I uninstall the app?
If your listing still appears bookable but you do not manage bookings, that can breach our standards. We may hide, deactivate, or permanently remove the account. See Business platform standards.
I’m a business — refund if my account is removed?
If your business account is suspended or deleted for breaking platform standards, content rules, or misconduct, money already paid to Citizz for platform features is generally not refunded, including unused time. See Payments & refunds and Terms §3 and §5.
Can I register again after Citizz removed my business?
We may refuse future registration for the same operator or business identity. Use Grievance to question a decision; reinstatement is at our discretion.
Payment failed or I didn’t get confirmation
Keep your bank SMS or receipt. Email contact@karmavyuha.com with the date, time, amount, and the email on your Citizz account. For a formal complaint with a reference number, use Grievance.
How do refunds work?
Refund rules depend on what you purchased and applicable law. Read your Terms of use and contact support if you need case-specific help.
How do I close my account?
See our dedicated page: Delete your Citizz account and data. Customers: open Profile → Close my account. Businesses: Settings → Account → Close account. You can also email contact@karmavyuha.com from your registered address.
I need to report unsafe or abusive behaviour
Use Grievance and choose the right category. For urgent danger, contact local emergency services first. Serious abuse (obscene photos, threats, hate speech) can lead to immediate account removal — see Terms and Trust & safety.
Does Citizz share my address or location?
If you allow location, we use it to show nearby businesses. When a booking needs a home visit, you may share an address with the business for that job only. We do not sell your location. Details are in our Privacy policy (location and address).
Who is responsible if something goes wrong at a job?
Citizz connects customers and businesses; we are not responsible for work quality, payment for the physical job (unless through a Citizz product you bought), or harm between people at a job site, including crime or misconduct. See Terms (in-person work and liability). Contact police for emergencies.
